Job Description Job Description Concrete Estimator Concrete Estimator Location: Oklahoma City, OK Salary: $80K-$100K Base Bonus (salary depends on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for concrete projects, ensuring that all aspects of the work are accounted for and aligned with budgetary constraints. This role is crucial in supporting our construction projects and ensuring their successful execution. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment costs. Analyze blueprints and project plans to provide accurate assessments of project scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates and ensure alignment with project objectives. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess the conditions that may affect project costs. Provide support in the bidding process by preparing proposals and cost breakdowns for clients. Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and accurate information for estimates. Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and methods. Familiarity with estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to accurately assess project costs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
