view our website at .Summary: The Director of Productivity
Improvement role will play a critical role in delivering
high-impact continuous improvement, cost optimization, procurement,
and operational efficiency projects and will work closely with
company leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and drive
improvement opportunities. This role will oversee the development
and execution of initiatives aimed at eliminating waste, reducing
costs, and improving overall operational productivity. This role
demands a dynamic leader with strategic vision, a strong background
in manufacturing optimization, operations, and data-driven decision
making as well as a drive to transform organizational performance
while fostering a culture of trust, safety, and integrity.Key
Responsibilities:
- Drive the leadership and strategy for company-wide process
optimization, change management, and continuous improvement
projects, utilizing data for decision making and creating
measurable results.
- Implement a framework across people, processes, and systems for
continuous improvement, including target setting and performance
tracking.
- Develop and implement strategies, standards, and KPIs to
continuously optimize operational performance.
- Lead and manage time-sensitive efficiency improvement projects
from inception to completion.
- Analyze data, facts, and client discussions to extract
meaningful insights and drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve
productivity bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for
process improvement across all areas of the organization.
- Develop actionable findings and strategic recommendations to
enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and
ensure continuous improvement efforts are effectively tracked and
measured.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to identify
opportunities for mutual process improvement and cost
reduction.
- Drive organizational change by effectively communicating the
benefits of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
initiatives.
- Anticipate and address resistance to change, fostering a
supportive environment for adopting new processes and
behaviors.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or
related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years proven experience in a leadership role driving lean
manufacturing and continuous improvement within a manufacturing
environment.
- Experience within Chemical Manufacturing or related industries
is highly preferred.
- Expertise in lean principles, methodologies, and tools (Six
Sigma Black or Green Belt certification preferred, or equivalent
experience).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale lean manufacturing
or Six Sigma initiatives with measurable results in cost reduction,
productivity improvement, and quality enhancement.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and leading
organizational transformation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing data to
drive process improvement efforts.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and manufacturing

- Actively engage with operations teams on-site, including in
control rooms and other critical areas, to gain insights and foster
practical, aligned solutions to support long-term sustainability
and value creation.
- Provide strong financial leadership to ensure alignment of
