Job Description:
The Medical Director leads clinical services at a CCBHC,
providing psychiatric expertise, supervision, and program guidance
to support integrated, high-quality care for diverse
populations.
Responsibilities include overseeing clinical operations, supporting
staff training, conducting chart reviews, and providing direct
client services.
Requires extensive psychiatric experience, especially in substance
use treatment, with a federal buprenorphine waiver.
Qualifications include an active NY medical license, DEA, and
subspecialty certification in addiction psychiatry or related
fields.
Strong leadership, supervision skills (including remote
supervision), and proficiency in electronic health records are
essential.
