Job Description:
The GI Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering
individualized surgical patient care, utilizing current clinical
knowledge and nursing processes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for
assigned patients of all ages.
Ensure effective communication among patients, staff, physicians,
anesthesia providers, and hospital departments.
Provide safe, quality care aligned with the department--------s
scope of practice and organizational values.
Support the hospital--------s mission, strategic plan, and
performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements include one-year recent GI experience preferred,
Louisiana RN license, BLS, ACLS, and willingness to accept
call.
This is a Per Diem, as-needed position with work schedule to be
determined.
