Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric CVICU Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,668 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds CVICU RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: One year of CVICU experience in a level I trauma setting required License: Current RN License Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: PALS Certification Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients. Observes the physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with families and patients in sharing care plans while in the hospital and at the time of discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures is required. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques is essential. Must maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors is important.
