Experience in pediatric, psychiatric, or behavioral health nursing preferred. CPR/BLS certification required; CPI or crisis prevention training preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills. Ability to work with children and adolescents in high-stress or crisis situations. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to pediatric psychiatric patients in inpatient or outpatient settings. Conduct mental health assessments, monitor symptoms, and document patient progress. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for side effects or behavioral changes. Support patients experiencing emotional distress, behavioral crises, or acute psychiatric episodes.
