Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must-Have: - Experience in various specialties including ENT, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology. - Ability to work Monday through Friday with some on-call and weekend duties. Description: The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality surgical care in the operating room setting. This role will involve assisting in a variety of procedures including sports medicine, total joint replacements, fractures, and laparoscopic surgeries. The nurse will also assist in C-sections, pain injections, stimulator placements, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, and pain pumps. Knowledge and experience in urological procedures will also be beneficial for this position. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility in scheduling is required as additional coverage may be needed on weekends or for call duty.
