Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN
Perioperative Circulator for a surgery center position requiring at
least one year of acute operating room experience and an active OK
or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Ambulatory surgery center
setting specializing in perioperative care - Day shift schedule
from 6:30am to 5:00pm, four days per week - No call, weekend, or
holiday shifts required - Eye surgery experience is preferred but
not required - Responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of
patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures - Accountable
for evaluation and documentation of all care components in the
perioperative setting - Must effectively individualize patient care
based on patient health status and specific procedures - Expected
to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary
perioperative team - First-time travelers are accepted Requirements
- Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact (eNLC) RN license -
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American
Heart Association - Minimum of one year recent experience in an
acute operating room environment - Associate's Degree in Nursing
from an accredited program required - Bachelor of Science in
Nursing preferred - Familiarity with AORN standards required - CNOR
certification preferred - Must live more than 50 miles from the
