Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Dialysis - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Work 36-48 hours per week (36 hour weeks acceptable, but 48 preferred) • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in examination of patients and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required (Bachelor's preferred) • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
