ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PICU Job Details: • Must have NICU experience in a level I trauma setting • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge • Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff as needed • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association) • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients Facility: This pediatric healthcare facility specializes in providing comprehensive medical care to children, featuring advanced pediatric intensive care services.
