Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lawton, OK Agency: Adelphi Medical Staffing Pay: $54 per hour Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Summary: Ref : M-RN-293719 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg / Ortho Job Type: Contract/Travel Start Date: ASAP Location: Lawton, OK Shift Schedule: 7a-7p Shift Type: Days Rate: $1,930/36-hours Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact, as applicable) Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg and/or Orthopedic nursing experience preferred BLS required ACLS preferred Responsibilities: Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Provide post-operative and orthopedic nursing care, including joint replacement recovery Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed Monitor vital signs, pain levels, wound status, and neurovascular integrity Assist with patient mobility, ambulation, and use of assistive devices Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, mobility restrictions, and discharge instructions Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams Identify and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
