About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Hours per Shift: 40.00 Experience: Minimum of 2 recent years in the
Cath lab, Level 1 experience preferred License: AHA BLS required
Certifications: Must meet eligibility requirements for ARRT
Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) within 12 months of
hire date or completion of Paramedic training program within 12
months of hire date Must-Have: - Ability to provide safe, high
quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care. -
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with patients,
families, and team members. - Skill in utilizing cardiovascular
and/or radiologic equipment and techniques. Description: Under
immediate to general supervision and direction of a
mentor/preceptor. This entry-level position focuses on achieving
initial competencies in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology
services. The role involves working with adult and/or pediatric
patient populations to aid medical staff in diagnosis, care,
treatment, and surveillance. Key responsibilities include preparing
patients for procedures and correlating clinical history with
procedures ordered by physicians. The technologist will conduct
post-procedure reviews to ensure all required elements are
completed and documented. The role requires transferring images and
data to appropriate archival systems and preparing studies for
reporting. Operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and
maintenance of equipment per guidelines are essential duties.
Participation in continuing education and professional development
activities is required to maintain competencies. Other duties as
assigned may apply. Candidates should possess the ability to work
as part of a team and follow instructions effectively. Strong
attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential
information with discretion are essential. Candidates must display
initiative and commitment toward completing assignments
efficiently. Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and
physiology related to the specialty is expected. Ability to apply
primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques with general
