Job Title: Invasive Cardiology Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Invasive Procedural Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated leadership experience required License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: Preferred specialty or leadership certifications Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Knowledge of institutional governance and hierarchy of decision-making processes - Skills in planning, coordinating, and measuring departmental activities - Demonstrated business acumen and managerial functions - Ability to leverage resources and manage multiple competing priorities - Strong written and oral communication skills Description: The Invasive Cardiology Manager is a registered nurse with demonstrated transformational leadership skills. The role requires operational management skills and expertise in caring for patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular procedures. The Nurse Manager directs the planning, implementation, and evaluation of inpatient and outpatient care programs for adult and pediatric patients. This position assures an effective continuum of care during invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. The manager will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of their department. Upholding nursing practice standards and ethics ensures the highest quality of patient care delivery. The manager will model professional behavior and interactions with employees and patients. Key Responsibilities: - Accountable for clinical care and departmental performance. - Supports strategic initiatives through establishing quality initiatives in patient care. - Develops and updates performance improvement tools and fiscal status reports. - Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in collaboration with support staff. - Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies through policies and procedures. - Manages department budget and resources while understanding financial processes. - Serves as a resource for physicians and staff. - Fosters an inclusive workforce and values individual differences. - Effectively manages the selection and performance of the team through coaching and recognition practices. - Performs other duties as assigned.
