Job Description The Guthrie Clinic's Robert Packer Hospital anesthesiology residency program seeks a pediatric anesthesiologist to oversee didactic and clinical education of residents. Highlights of the Position Anesthesiology Residency Program 18 modern operating rooms Teaching regular rotations of residents and medical students. Robust EHR used in all areas, including operating room (Epic 10-star health system, top 1% of Epic Organizations) Anesthesia Department manages OR schedule, providing the necessary structure for a smooth, efficient workday 0.1 FTE Administrative Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits Above industry average salary up to $575K total compensation $25K Starting Bonus, $25K retention bonus each year for the following 3 years $15K quality/citizenship bonus available yearly Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and disability insurance Malpractice/liability insurance including tail coverage Guthrie retirement savings plan (403B) with employer match up to 3% plus yearly age-based contributions Allowance for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate, and renewals Work-Life Balance 4-6 Weeks' vacation time based on experience and tenure 5 Personal days per year 7 Holidays Career Development Meeting time – 14 days with options for home study (Plus one week convertible to PTO) Annual Stipend for conference registration, certifications, membership fees for specialty specific medical societies Teaching opportunities – Guthrie has 5 residency programs plus the Anesthesia Residency as of 2020.
