Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Nights Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of
experience required License: Current RN License issued by the state
board of nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support and ACLS certification
by the American Heart Association required Must-Have: Associate's
Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Description: Under
general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a
variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to
complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed
medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders for
assigned patients. Assists physicians in the examination of
patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and
treatments. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients.
Observes the physiological manifestations of patients and
intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed.
Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood
products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with
patients and families in sharing care plans during their hospital
stay and at the time of discharge. Informs patients and families of
hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs
to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff.
Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of professional
nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures is
essential. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate
nursing services and apply nursing techniques is required.
Maintaining good working relationships with other employees is
crucial. Good verbal and written communication skills are
necessary. Must respond effectively to the cultural and language
needs of patients and visitors. Some computer skills are required.
