Course/Telemetry test, NIHSS required Must-Have: Current Critical
Care and Telemetry experience Description: Current and valid
driver's license or state-issued ID required. Utility bill in the
candidate's name with a matching address within the last three
months is required. Address must be greater than 75 miles from the
contracted facility. Documentation must be included with
application. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
Travelers must have 1 year of travel experience. Candidates must
have experience in critical care and telemetry. Floating to other
areas may be required to meet facility needs. Candidates must be
willing to float to other facilities if needed. No local candidates
will be accepted; the local radius rule is 75 miles. Submissions
must include 2 supervisory references. Candidates must have a
minimum of 1 year separation from previous employment with the
health system. All candidates must be aware of the floating
requirements. Candidates must have no license hits on their record.
Candidates should be prepared to manage various patient care
responsibilities in the unit. Patient ratio during shifts is
typically 4 patients per nurse. Position involves care for adults
and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses. Interdisciplinary
support is available for various patient care needs. Special
equipment and specific procedures are utilized in this role.
Candidates must be proficient in telemetry and the interpretation
